Windward follows Blind sailor Walt Raineri who thought he had prepared for his loss of sight but learns anew through sailing, navigating by listening, feeling, and trusting the wind, water, and his community. Windward won an Award of Excellence from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and was accepted at The Mill Valley Film Festival.
